From Kansas City, Missouri to the heart of Texas! Born in the Show-Me State, Taylor's Lone Star journey began at 15. Taylor joined a local youth group where her eyes were opened to the power of community and a passion was ignited for making a difference. By embarking on mission trips, Taylor was able to discover the joy of giving back and lending a helping hand to those in need. After graduating from Tarleton State University with a Business degree, Taylor ended up back in Kansas City as she landed a job that would grant her the opportunity to travel all over the United States. From East Coast to West Coast, from North to South, Taylor was immersed in different cultures and met people from all walks of life. Her experiences instilled in her a deep sense of knowledge and understanding, fostering compassion for the struggles and triumphs that shape individuals and communities.

Taylor grew up in a broken home, where her aspiration of wanting more was rooted deep within her. As she matured finding exactly what that looked like started to take form in giving back and helping others who find themselves in similar situations. When looking back at some of the pivotal moments in her life, Taylor knew there were key individuals God placed in her life to encourage and guide her through all the ups and downs. Taylor has found her way back to Texas and is one of our Dare to Dream Mentors, she hopes that each teen she comes in contact with will be positively impacted by the interactions and time they have together. While Taylor continues to mentor our local teen youth, she has also stepped in to help our Board and strives to find ways to strengthen our presence in the local community so we can continue the mission of walking alongside those within our foster care community who need our support.
